Lao, Vietnamese journalists’ associations agree to strengthen ties
The Lao Journalists’ Association and Vietnam Journalists’ Association on October 17 agreed to tighten their cooperation through more discussions and training sessions. The two sides agreed to boost ties during a visit by a Lao delegation in which 11 members of the LJA, led by its President and Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mr. Savankhone Razmountry on October 17 visited the headquarters of the VJA in Hanoi. The visit is taking place from October 16 to 21, during which the Lao delegation will visit media outlets and tourist landmarks in Hanoi and Binh Thuan province in southern Vietnam. Speaking at the meeting, Mr Savankhone said, our visit is to exchange lessons learnt by our associations and to discuss how we can both improve our work, while our mission is also to develop our country.
